My experience leading up to my new photography career has consisted entirely of children. Today I did a shoot for a family. Although this was my second family shoot, it proved to be a challenging learning experience. The family said they wanted more of a 'family portrait' for Christmas cards rather than the typical natural shots I usually do of children. It took a quick hand to catch all four family members, two of them two-year old twins, looking directly at me at the same time. I am happy with the shots I did manage. In the future I may entertain the idea of a clown nose or spinning hat to keep them glancing at me.
